candee’s spiced pork chops

6 pork chops
1 1/2 t paprika
3/4 t oregano
1 1/2 t cumin
1 1/2 t garlic powder
3/4 t salt
1/4 t fennel seeds (Crushed)
1/8 t cayenne pepper
1 1/2 T olive oil
3/4 T butter
3/4 c chicken broth

Mix all spices together and evenly sprinkle half of the spice mix over the top of the pork chops.  Heat olive oil in skillet over med-high heat, then place spiced side of pork chops down in the hot skillet.  Cook 3-5 min until browned (not black), and sprinkle remaining spice mix on uncooked side.  Flip and finish cooking.

For sauce, remove pork chops from skillet, add butter to pan and whisk up browned bits, add chicken broth, reduce to 1/2.
